GKN Wheels
"With the environmental effects of Co2 emissions from buring fossil fuels leading to global warming and escalating energy costs, GKN Wheels, with WREMS knowledge and expertise, installed a 128 chanel monitoring system that monitors 70 meters, 24 hours a day. From this information, wastage was identified and low capital projects were installed, which showed a 19% Energy reduction in one year. These projects included a Building Managment System to control the energy used. In 2004, GKN Wheels won a GKN Green Award for reducing energy and this was made possible by working with WREMS."
